3rd Shift Manufacturing Associate
Job description
SS Industries is a spiral staircase manufacturer in Collegeville, PA!
We have 3rd Shift opportunities only at this time! Hours are 8:30PM to 5:00AM.
Warehouse, production, factory, landscaping, construction and distribution experience/background is welcome!
Essential Functions:
- Parts Team - create stair components from raw materials via use of machinery.
- Weld Team - weld stair components
- Powdercoat - paint stair components
- Shipping Team - pack and label stair components for shipment and distribution
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read tape measure to the 1/32”
- Detail orientated
- Willingness to maintain good attendance and work hard with team members
- Capable of repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
Preferred Education and Experience
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience
- 1-2 years’ experience setting up and operating manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read blueprints and perform a flat layout
- Technical school
- Mechanically inclined
