POSITION OVERVIEW

Responsible for including but not limited to cutting components through accurate measurement and input into the CNC computer; material handling including loading and unloading of material for equipment and for producing products at the highest quality, meeting production targets and working safely.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Read, understand basic blueprint and drawings.

• • Must be able to use basic measuring tools including, tape measures, digital and dial calipers.

• • Operate machine and program cuts on machine to job order requirements.

• • Properly match up consumables to be used on cutting head required per thickness and material composition.

• • Load and offload cutting table of scrap and finished parts.

• • Maximize utilization of remnant material.

• • Check quality of parts off machine including measurements, cutting edges, and edge taper.

• • Keep work area clean and organized including sweeping and wiping machine down.

• • Daily maintenance includes cleaning plasma cutting table of slag and dross left over after cutting process.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• HS Diploma or GED, Technical school not required

• Basic math skills

• Ability to read tape measure to the 1/32”

• 1-2 years manufacturing experience

• 1-2 years’ experience Plasma cutter / Burner table operation

• Ability to read blueprints and perform a flat layout

• Willingness to work as a team member and positive attitude

• Capable of repetitive lifting up to 50lbs

• Mechanically inclined

• Detail Oriented
